Student Leap Card Update

Please note that all 2025 Student Leap cards will expire on Tuesday 21 October 2025.

There is a new process for applying for a student leap card and you can no longer apply online and collect your student leap card on the same day. 

To update your student leap card you must apply online; upload all supporting documentation and wait up to 5 working days. You must wait for a confirmation email that your card is ready before collecting it from Dublin Bus, Head Office 59 Upper O’Connell Street.

Remember if you do not have an in-date Student Leap Card while travelling on our services it could lead to a fine for fare evasion.
